Tom Manke wrote a letter to Emily Olson, a member of the Owosso city council in Michigan. Manke believed he had received a “vision” from God warning him that Olson would be attacked outside of her business late at night. This event has raised questions about the security measures taken by local law enforcement and city officials as well as bringing media attention to the incident. Let’s take a look at what happened and the potential impact it may have on future council meetings.
Tom Manke’s Vision from God: A Letter to the Owosso City Council Woman detailing her Assassination Attempt
Below is a full transcript of Manke’s letter to Olsen
Emily,
You may not believe + Reject god – that is up to you.
God though still believes in you + gave me this message to give to you
So you know it is from him – i am to tell you that he is sorry for the traumatic event that happened to you when you were a child. He is also sorry about what happened to you at (ineligible) laid on my heart I am sorry also.
Now to the main part of what I am supposed to tell you. God loves you. He wants you to know you “may” (redacted) are in danger.
I was given a vision a very detailed vision.
My observation point in the vision was from your back parking lot. It is cold out “weather” you have a coat on and are leaving your store. Your back is to the parking lot and you are locking the door. A man 5′ 10″ 50 or 60 ish white neatly dressed wearing an overcoat and dress hat walks up to you from the north side. You see him – you know him – You smile + without saying a word he shoots you.
He calmly walks away and leaves in a dark colored vehicle
I dont want to give you this message. You may not like me + that is fine.
I no longer can dislike you. I am into the Phoretic – the spiritual side – and I am supposed to now do everything I can to keep you safe.
I have contacted Owosso Police and gave this message minus what happened to you as a child to the sheriff.
I believe this is a person from your past
Maybe you know who this can be and change my vision
No matter what you do – just know that god did not give up on you. The traumatic event still hurts god. God loves you and as a bond (ineligible).
I love you also
Tom Manke

Ongoing Investigation from Owosso Police Department into Manke Letter
The Owosso Police Department is investigating the letter that was sent to a city council woman in which the Manke claims to have had a vision from God about her assassination attempt.
The department should take the threat seriously and investigate it thoroughly. They should also increase security for the councilwoman and keep an eye on any suspicious activity.
The Owosso Police Department has issued Emily Olson a strong recommendation for a Personal Protection Order against Tom Manke due to the disturbing vision he shared with her. The order would protect her from any threats of violence, including assassination attempts, as well as protect her from any further communication from Manke.
Protection from Manke for Olsen and other Owosso City Council members
The Shiawassee County Judge, Matthew J. Stewart has the power to grant a Personal Protection Order against Tom Manke, which would protect Emily Olson from any further threats of violence.
Judge Matthew J Stewart may decline the Personal Protection Order (PPO) against Tom Manke, as Manke claims to have had a vision from God and there is no evidence that he has any malicious intent or poses an imminent threat to Emily Olson or anyone else in the community. Community members have outlined Manke’s personal relationship with the judge on several Social Media platforms.
Due to the fact that Tom Manke sent a letter detailing his vision from God of Emily Olson’s assassination attempt, it is necessary for the safety of all who attend future Owosso city council meetings to increase security. Security measures should include metal detectors at the entrance, bag checks, and more police officers on duty.
Tom Manke has been causing community disturbances at several past city council meetings and through his personal blog website.
Tom Manke’s behavior at the Owosso City Council meetings has been erratic and disruptive. He often speaks out of turn, makes inflammatory statements, and even yells at council members. In one meeting, he even got into a physical altercation with another resident.
Not only has Tom Manke been causing disturbances at city council meetings, but he’s also been doing so on his personal blog website. On his website, he posts articles about local politics and government, and many of them are highly critical of the Owosso City Council and its members. He also frequently posts videos of the city council meetings, which again tend to be very critical of the council and its members.
It’s clear that Tom Manke is not happy with how things are run in Owosso City government, but his tactics for trying to get change are not productive or constructive. His behavior at city council meetings is disruptive and unprofessional, and his writings on his blog only serve to incite animosity between him and the rest of the community
